I have found with myself and working with other women that what keeps us from moving forward is emotional wounds of the past and especially childhood traumas. Women are very good at masking and hiding their true feelings. We sometimes push these emotions so deep that we don't even recognize them anymore. Yet, they don't just go away; they (destructive, binding emotions) hinders many of us and prevent us from moving into our purpose and destiny in God.

Before God gives us anything to share with others we first have to go through it. This last 2 weeks for me has been one of deliverance from some things that I didn't even realize was holding me back in certain areas of my life. God revealed and delivered me while I was working on my latest God-given writing assignment, an interactive workbook for healing and restoration. Funny things too is I have also been preparing and praying because I have been asked to teach on "Hurt and Broken" as fatal distractions in my Sunday school class where I serve as ministry support. You cannot teach without it first affecting your own life. If it doesn't then you're not ready to teach it!

You can get a copy of my new ebook ("The Courage to Change: Confronting Emotional Wounds That Bind You") for Payloadz or my website yvonnecarson.ning.com.

God bless you, Ladies!!!

Hi, Robin

Thanks for much for your words of encouragement; it couldn't come at a better day than TODAY! Everything that I'm motivated to do is because number 1 I truly want to please my Father God and secondly, I love helping my sisters in the Lord. My heart is so passionate for women's ministry and compassion for hurting, broken, used, and abuse women touch me VERY deeply because I was one of those women!!

When you get the chance, check out my new released ebook "The Courage to Change: Confronting Emotional Wounds That Bind You." You can visit my website at http://yvonnecarson.ning.com

Stopping in to say hello Yvonne and fellow members.

Be encouraged my friends. Be not weary in well doing for in due season
we will reap if we faint not.

God is smiling as He watches women like us share His love from His heart.
It can be discouraging at times, however, take the attitude "whatever pleases God pleases me!" I have embraced this statement and it has fueled my passion and motivation. I listen for His applause.

We know all of this, however,I'm stopping as a fellow sister to give
a human touch of encouragement.

Thanks Yvonne for all you do!

Your sistah,

Robin

I received the following email and I think it's awesome lesson in perseverance!!! Enjoy.

"Keep Driving"

I THOUGHT THIS STORY DEPICTED SO BEAUTIFULLY, THE LOVE OF AN AWESOME GOD!!!

Hope you are just as blessed, as I was.

One day a young lady was driving along with her father. They came upon a storm. The young lady asked her father what should she do, he said "keep driving". Cars began to pull over to the side; the storm was getting worse. What should I do the young lady asked, "keep driving" her father replied. On up a few feet she noticed eighteen wheelers were pulling over also. She told her dad, I must pull over I can barely see ahead. It is terrible out here everyone is pulling over. Her father told her not to give up just keep driving. Now the storm was terrible, but she never stopped driving and soon she could see a little more clearly. After a couple of miles she was on dry land and the sun was out. Her father said now pull over and get out. She said "but why now?" He said "get out look back, at all the people that gave up and are still in the storm". You never gave up and now your storm is ;over.

I thought this was a testimony for anyone of you who is going through something. Just because everyone else, even the ones who appear to be the biggest and strongest gives up. You don't have to, because if you keep going on, up ahead your storm will soon be over and the sun will shine upon your face again.

I hope this touched someone because it did me. Pass it on to someone who you know is going through or all of your online friends. Tell them to never give up, because GOD will never give up on them. He has the last say-so.

You are blessed beyond anything you can ask or imagine. Just put your trust and hope in God.
