About Me:

I am a professional writer and have a new book coming out in late Fall. It is entitled "Entering the Age of Elegance: a Rite of Passage & Practical Guide for the Modern Maturing Woman". My previous book, "What Happens Next: A Family Guide to Nursing Home Visits...and More" can be found at amazon.com
For 35 years I taught at all levels except kindergarten. For 10 years I was a conflict resolution faciliator doing prison workshops. I have also been very involved with caregiver issues, giving talks and workshops to family and professional caregivers.
I have traveled all over the world - all seven continents! I am a widow, mother of 2 grown children, son and daughter and the proud grandmother of 3 grandsons.
In 2003, I won the title of Ms. Maryland Senior America.
